Plumber Technician

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites and remodeling projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
• Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for plumbing installations or repairs
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work with carpentry, HVAC, and other trades
• Perform routine inspections to identify issues with existing plumbing systems and troubleshoot mechanical problems
• Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites or in confined spaces

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields with a solid understanding of plumbing systems and installation techniques
• Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing and mechanical systems
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and schematics interpretation
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, remodeling processes, carpentry basics, and maintenance person skills is highly desirable
