Plumbing Apprenticeship

Carter’s My Plumber is hiring a Plumbing Apprentice — no experience required, $16–$18/hour to start, and 100% of your family’s health insurance covered from day one. Our Service Plumbers earn $52K–$150K/year, and we’ve been training people into that career from scratch since 1969.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Ride along with and assist licensed Service Plumbers on residential calls across Indianapolis
• Help with plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations — water heaters, water lines, fixtures, and more
• Learn plumbing systems, tools, and diagnostic techniques hands-on every day
• Develop the customer communication skills that make a great plumber
• Keep the service vehicle stocked, clean, and ready

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• No plumbing experience required — we train from zero
• Strong work ethic and a coachable attitude
• Reliable: on time, every day, ready to work
• Able to lift heavy equipment, bend, and stay on your feet
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Authorized to work in the United States
