Plumbing Superintendent

We are seeking a Superintendent for an established commercial plumbing company. Typical project types include ground up, tilt ups, and tenant improvements in the retail, medical, and office field.

Responsibilities

• Supervising crews in field on multiple ongoing projects
• Work closely with GC project managers and superintendents
• Meet deadlines on multiple, concurrent projects
• Understanding scope of work, managing RFI’s, and approval of changes to the contracted work
• Hold weekly toolbox safety meeting and ensure that all OSHA safety requirements are being followed
• Promptly address arising problems and find resolutions
• Produce as-builts upon project completion

Position Requirements

• 5 years journeyman plumber
• 3 years supervisory experience
• Ability to read construction plans
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Familiarity with computer programs used in construction field
• Produce take-offs for projects
• OSHA 30
• Valid Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $72,000.00 per year

• Journeyman Plumber: 5 years (Required)

• Blueprint reading: 1 year (Preferred)
• Plumbing Takeoffs: 1 year (Preferred)
