Job Description

Serve as a key customer service contact on a face-to-face basis at wholesale counter as well as handling incoming phone calls and emails. Generate sales while providing quick, accurate, courteous service to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Sell and supply merchandise to customers utilizing product and applications knowledge to select material that best meets customer needs. When applicable or as assigned, service orders that have been called in for customer pickup.
• Proactively handle customer issues/challenges for resolution.
• Assist with maintaining customer records, files, and reports of business transactions.
• Participate in continuous training sessions to develop and increase industry knowledge.
• Consistent attendance at the workplace is required and considered an essential function of the job.
• Perform other related duties as dictated by business necessity or assigned by management including general warehouse work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years prior experience in plumbing/heating/mechanical industry preferred.
