Plumbing Journeyman

Essential Job Functions

* Meet all requirements of 4 year Apprentice. * Knowledge of all tools, equipment and skills necessary for the complete installation of projects common to the plumbing industry. * Possession of the tools as required by the company. * Direct the activities of field crew member(s) in accordance with job schedules and priorities as coordinated with project manager/customer/general contractor and field foreman as applicable. * Submit daily job progress reports to supervisors as required. * Responsible for ordering stock or fabricated materials as far in advance as possible either personally or through site foreman to ensure completion of assigned tasks. * Responsible for physical jobsite organization and housekeeping to ensure a safe professional work area. * Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of company equipment as well as monitoring the use and timely return of rented equipment. * Install sanitary systems, water systems, fuel systems, fixtures and equipment. + Assemble, install and repair pipes, fitting, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes. + Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing and welding equipment. + Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks....
