Responsibilities

• Support lead plumbers with pipe installation, fitting, and assembly using hand tools and power tools
• Assist in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate pipe routing and system setup
• Help maintain plumbing systems by performing routine repairs and troubleshooting issues on-site
• Follow building code compliance standards to ensure all work meets safety and quality regulations
• Operate power tools safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols related to power tool use
• Assist with pipe threading, cutting, and fitting tasks to facilitate smooth installation processes

Skills

• Construction experience with a focus on plumbing or related trades
• Knowledge of construction plumbing systems, pipe installation techniques, and schematics reading
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
• Mechanical knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repair
• Familiarity with building code compliance standards for plumbing installations
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work
• Construction site experience with an understanding of safety procedures including power tool safety
• Strong field service skills with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues on-site
